Zuna hires and works with only the best of the best when it comes to development. If not completed correctly, development can be costly to both the partner and the client. With this in mind, Zuna takes all the necessary steps to ensure that the development is completed as required with minimal impact to either the partner or the client.
Zuna’s approach to development:
Zuna’s development team works directly with both the partner and client to complete the development, but just as important as the actual development is the business impact of the requested development. How will the organization gain from this development, what is the impact to other users/departments, how does this affect upgrades to newer versions of the software application and what is the cost of the development request. In our experience, without answering all of these questions organizations place themselves at risk to auditing concerns, project cost overruns, and version-locking, among many other risks.
After the development request is appropriately defined and approved the actual development follows a custom methodology involving multiple internal Quality Assurance cycles and final end-user testing prior to release into production.
Additional functionality or customization through development is not without both short-term and long-term costs. For this reason, we place emphasis on understanding the value to be gained through the changes prior to the development being performed.
